The Most Valuable Thing

I woke up at 6am, I went downstairs, and I started to put my writing into practice. I’m working on new projects and while working on these, my grandmother came to my mind. Unfortunately she is not here anymore, but she had a beautiful journey and a beautiful and blessed marriage. She was an example of faith. I remember years ago when I used to have terrible nightmares. I couldn’t sleep one full week cause I was afraid I would be bothered with these dark nightmares. At the time I didn’t have a relationship with our father. The creator! But on this day I was desperate and I called for her to pray for me( I followed my mothers advise). I’ll never forget! She prayed and she said, ” My daughter, go to your bed and have a peaceful sleep, God will give you that peace that you need!” I went to my bed and I had the best sleep ever! Unfortunately, she didn’t see me when I decided to give my life to Christ and become baptized. She didn’t see the miracles God was doing in my life. That’s life! But one thing I know for sure! Everything that happened, and is happening has my grandmother and grandfathers prayers. Like she used to say, ” I can’t see with these eyes, but I already can see with my faith eyes.” I’m so grateful that God gave me these two blessed people to have in my life. They weren’t rich, but they gave me the most valuable thing I could ever ask for, they gave me FAITH! —Rafaelle Schwartzbart

Take Hold of Your True Identity

My prayer is, Jesus, save me from me! Every single day we have to let go of something. It can be bad habits, thoughts, or attitudes. It can be the way we think about ourselves. I don’t know about you, but I used to be so mean to myself. I used to think that I wasn’t smart enough, that I wasn’t the person with the necessary values to conquer big goals, that it wasn’t for me! I even used to think that some people were born lucky, and others, such as myself were not. So one day I had my back against the wall. On this day I understood that it was not about luck but being the person capable of following through no matter what! To quit is pretty easy, what is hard is to keep going even when we can’t see the light . I love to compare my struggles in the US with my clients. Many clients have the struggle to keep going to the gym, to eat healthily, to create a healthy habit. I had the same struggles with going to ESOL classes after work each day, to listen to the same episode podcast when I was sick of it, to keep studying for the course even when I wasn’t able to understand a single paragraph. By the way, the same struggles that many of you had, I too had several years ago. But one day, I decided to start. And knowing that in practice, I decided to do the same with my goals outside of fitness. So I said to me. Ok, Rafa! Do you want to learn English? Do you want your certification? Right! It’s not gonna happen in the short term, it’s gonna take a while, it’s like any other fitness goal that you had, so just enjoy the process. The same goes with if you want to lose weight, get muscles, learn something new, or start to be more productive. No matter what you want to do, it is not gonna happen overnight. You have to create a routine. Sit down, take the big picture for your life, create a plan to get it, put your plan into action, and most importantly, follow through with persistence. And you know where everything starts? In your mind! Be careful of what you think because all of this can turn into reality. If you are unhappy about something change it! You can turn it into something better. You need to focus your thoughts on what’s more important. Strengthen your mind and put the focus, interest, and enthusiasm on the actions that matter the most. Then, try to take one step after another to get there. Another thing that I learned to do is say aloud what God says about me. Since I opened my eyes to the truths in Scripture, God began a new work in my heart. We are chosen. We are beloved. We are holy. And we can do all things through Christ. And that’s what I’m challenging you to do today: Let go of your insecurities and take hold of your true identity. Cause when we know who we are, we know what to do! I have homework for you. Write down the vision. The big picture of your life. Does it look too crazy cause of how big it is? Great! Write it down. I have crazy ones as well! We all do! The difference is, some of us truly believe, persist, and get it! Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord said, Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Writing the vision down helps you remember what the vision is. It gives you the big picture right in front of you with smaller steps to achieve it. When God speaks to you, when you feel in your heart, or when you hear the voice that does not use words, write it down. Make it a habit to regularly read it. As you do, it will build faith in your heart so that you can put action to your vision and run with it! Remember…
Vision without action is only a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. A vision with action can change the world.

4,544 miles of distance 🇧🇷🇺🇸 The same passions 📚🐕🥦🍎 the same weirdness🤪 and even the same stubbornness.😅 And here we are😍🥰 everything started because He loved us first❤️ He writes the most beautiful stories📝 He has been surprising me since 2015 when I gave my pen to Him to take control of my life and write my story. AND In this episode, I had my husband share when we met each other, and the struggle that we had to face, in the time that English was a barrier.–Baby–I-have-a-question-edsli7

Give this Shot!

There is so much going on out there, things look hopeless. I know that it’s not easy at all. The Bible says, ” In this world, you will have trouble, but take heart! I overcome the world.” He didn’t say that you maybe will have trouble, He said, you will. So, the journey is not gonna be easy, but He is with us! There’s hope, there’s a way, there a new you, there’s a new life, there’s a new chapter, there’s a new journey. Do not accept less then you deserve, you are a child of God, you are beloved, you are chosen. GIVE this shot FOR YOU! Believe in yourself, have faith, do your hard work, and what about those things you cannot do? just surrender! And watch out!

Declare It!

I love to listen to “Earn your happy podcast” by Lori harder, and she said,” If you don’t start the thing you want during this time, it’s not a time problem, it’s never been a time problem, it’s a discipline problem.” I couldn’t agree more! So, do not wait for tomorrow, for next week, for next month, or next year. Take the action that you need right now. Big changes start with small steps. You have the choice to choose when the day is you start, so start today! Start to drink more water, to eat more vegetables and fruits, to do exercises, to read a book, to start an online class, to learn something new, to start a blog or the business of your dream. Decide today, and never look back. We are not a tree, don’t stay stuck in the ground, you can decide to change and move. Declare out and loud that you are not who you use to be, but who you decide to become.

“Life and death are in the power of our tongue.” – Proverbs 18:21
