Discipline makes you feel ALIVE!

I love how my fitness discipline helps me in my walk with God. Because it’s like a muscle, we have to feed and exercise daily. It’s a work in progress, and we have to be patient and understand that things don’t happen when we want to, but there’s a process to respect, and to achieve it we have to work on it every single day. By the way, it is the same as when we don’t feel like exercising every day, the same goes when we walk with God. Some days we don’t feel like fasting, reading the bible, or praying. We just want to sit on the sofa watching tv or even worse, just scrolling social media. That’s when discipline and dedication have to show up. With those 2 we show up anyway, despite our feelings. These small wins make us feel alive and feel excited to wake up the next day to set more challenges. And let me tell you, there’s no better way to live life than when we have discipline and feel ALIVE!

Big Things Happen When You Do Small Things Consistently

Consistency is an important part of your fitness journey. Many people think that all you have to do to improve your fitness is to follow a good routine for about a couple of weeks, and you should see amazing results. While that would be amazing, unfortunately, that isn’t the case.

You have to be consistent in your fitness journey, which requires a lot of discipline. Without consistency, you will not be able to develop the habits necessary to adapt to your new lifestyle. Do not stop a program you are doing after a couple of weeks or months. Keep following it if you want to reach your health and fitness goals.

Another reason you need to have consistency in your fitness journey is that it affects your mental health. Following a consistent program that you can stick with can reduce stress, which means a more improved overall well-being.

Think about the things you do every day that seem effortless. Maybe you wake up and head straight to the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth? There are many things in your life that you do not think about, but you still do them. These are habits that you have developed over a long and consistent period of time. They have become a part of your lifestyle. This lifestyle is your current “normal,” which means that is what you do every day. You want to make your fitness journey part of this “normal.” That is why working out consistently every week, and eating right every day is very crucial in developing them into good habits.

Dedication and consistency both play a crucial role in your fitness journey. Changing bad habits into good ones takes a lot of time and effort before they turn into habits. This is why it is essential that you are properly motivated and know what you have to do to make those changes to reach your goals. Once these new habits become a part of your lifestyle, you will be one step closer to reaching your goals!

Remember, It’s the little things that matter most!

Be In Constant Movement

Whatever success looks like to you, it isn’t going to happen overnight.
When I look back, it was when I lived in Brazil that I committed changing my life(in all ways, but especially my spiritual life). It didn’t happen all at once. It required a lot of commitment, effort, and patience.
I consciously designed a lifestyle, a relationship I wished to have with God, and a business I loved. I learned to pray and ask for God’s guidance for everything that I did. I took my time studying, reading, and building my faith, and with all of this, I started to bring that vision to life, one beautiful step at a time.🦋 #In Constant Movement with Rafaelle Schwartzbart 🤸🏻‍♀️ And Make sure your worst enemy doesn’t live between your own two ears – Laird Hamilton

If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit.

To walk in faith is not easy, but worth it. To Walk-in faith is to believe in the surreal visions that God put in our hearts and minds, and believe even when your abilities and situation do not match with what it says. And to say aloud what you see and believe is a brave attitude since everybody is going to think that you are crazy LOL. Understandable, since they can’t see what we see, right? And do you know what I love about that? Many can call you a lunatic, but God honors the ones who trust Him, and He does His work on our improbability, to everyone to see that God is with those who believe in Him with all heart. Surrender to Him what you cant do, and watch your life change. Surrender and watch His grace give you the wisdom that just He can give. The Bible says; Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. ( Proverbs 9: 11-12).

Dear 7 year old me…

Don’t be so scared. Even if it looks impossible right now, you can trust in people. You are beloved. I wish I could give you a big hug and let you know how strong and brave you’ll be. But I have to be honest! It will be a long journey. You will learn that pain teaches, and what does not kill makes you strong. Do you know what is funny? Things do not change so much. Even old in numbers, you will feel afraid many many times, but you will do it anyways. Like right now, even with so many traumas going on, you find reasons to go out and play with your friends. Even when everything is a mess, you have a smile and you believe that things can change for the better. I wish that you wouldn’t waste so much time in your life being insecure and lost about who you are. But you know what? This crazy mess will build who you are supposed to be. So, be a strong little girl, that will become a big storm, and believe me, You will survive and tell this story proud of yourself. The storms will build the most important relationship in your life. You will discover your true identity in Christ, and you will never be the same. You will learn that you never will be alone and the girl that hides yourself behind your mother’s leg. Cause your faith will be unshakable, and you will be unstoppable.

A Beautiful Letter From my Daughter

Her head is up, in the clouds. The sky is not her limit. She wants to go beyond. She wants to reach infinite. The way there may be rough, and the path very difficult, but she doesn’t look down, and if she does, there’s no fear. Her father is within her and she knows…She Got Wings! – Maria Eduarda❤️

I Believe in You, so do You!

Fitness is my passion, and to be consistent in this area is not hard for me, since I love it! And it makes sense, I’m a Personal Trainer. But, I want to talk about how fitness and life are related. First of all, as with any goal, we have to take action. Just wishing for something wont make us achieve it! Let me tell you how I learned to enjoy reading. I pretended that I was enjoying it. Years ago, I used to go to the beach and do whatever, but reading wasn’t one of my choices. But then I met my husband, and he is a book lover. In the summer, of 2017 we went to the pool often. At the time I didn’t speak English at all, so what did I do? I pretended that I was reading a book, in English. Since I had to learn the language, and I had the desire to love to read. I had to pretend for a while. First, I pretended that I was understanding, and second that I was enjoying that time. So, I kept pretending until I really did enjoy it! And now, today I do love reading! Not just books, but audiobooks, and I’m also a podcast addict. I love to write, and I have a blog. Was it easy? Not at all. But instead of just wishing for it, I took action and made it happen. In my beginning journey, when I was living in a basement by myself, and in a bedroom with different families, feeling afraid in a different country, and not speaking the language, working hard just to survive, all of this had been teaching me that if I did not do for myself, no one was going to do it for me. The same goes for the fitness journey. Northing that is worthy comes easy. You have to pretend that you like it until your mind believes. Start with small changes. You don’t have to start extreme. You don’t have to go do crazy exercises or do extreme diets. Remember, that these changes are for the rest of your life, so you have to make changes achievable in the long term. Let’s go back to my book story. I didn’t try to read ten books in one day. I pretended that I was reading the same book for months. That’s how it works. It takes time. Be patient. Enjoy the process. Be proud of yourself for trying hard to grow. I don’t know about you, but I love to read the bible, pray, worship, read books, listen to a podcast, go for a walk, and have a conversation with God, It helps me to keep going. I do that every day. Every week. Every month. Every year. Consistency is the key! And remember, every single one of us struggles in some area of life, and we are not meant to do that alone. That’s why I share my journeys and my struggles. We have each other, to encourage and motivate so that we are capable to achieve and do hard things. The key is never to give up. I’m going to finish up with my favorite verse in the bible, ” Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. For the Lord, your God will be with you wherever you go! ” So, be strong and courageous. Go for your goals and dreams and make it a beautiful journey. Have faith, believe in yourself, and enjoy the process. I believe in you, so should you! https://anchor.fm/shegotwings/episodes/I-Believe-in-You–so-do-You-ekohqa

Be Brave. Be Bold.

Can I ask you a question? What are you struggling with right now? What’s that obstacle holding you back? How bad do you want to reach your goal? Are you willing to go for it? When I say willing, I mean to put in the hard work. Not just saying you desire it, but are willing to go all in! I lived for years and years limited in my mind. I was taking care of my body, my muscles, eating healthy, but the inside of me was unhealthy. My soul was dying. I used to spend my time in front of the tv, or scrolling my cell phone. I wasted so much time in my life. But, like the quote says, ” When you know better, you do better!”. Today I know who is by my side, I’m brave, I’m bold. If someone said to me at the begining of 2015 my next 4 years would be a life where I was happily married, living in the United States, speaking English and passing the NASM personal trainer certification I wouldn’t have believe it. First of all, 4 years ago I didn’t speak English at all, and second, I wasn’t a believer. I didn’t have a relationship with God at that time. Today if someone says to me that in 4 years or even less I’ll be on big stages speaking or that my book will be a NY best seller I’ll now believe! Cause He made me bold. He made me a new person. Cause today I know that He is in me, and with Him, we can do the impossible! So, I want to encourage you to take action today! Not tomorrow or next week. I mean, TODAY! Take the action to have faith, to believe in yourself, to do exercise, to choose better food to fuel your body, to choose better books to feed your soul, to love, and take care of yourself. You are worth it! You are the son and daughter of God, so we have to act like who we are! He loves and chooses us to rise up in Christ. https://anchor.fm/shegotwings/episodes/Be-Brave–Be-Bold-eiumi7

Be In Constant Movement for YOU!

What did you do for you today?

It can be a little action that can make your day better. You are worth it! And taking care of yourself is not a heavy thing that you should feel that you have to do, but a pleasure. That’s for you! You deserve it! Drink more water, go for a walk, eat fruits and vegetables, read a good book, enjoy your company, learn something new, wake up with plans, and repeat it again, and again. Choose a little step per day, per week…but choose to move! Be willing to make better choices FOR YOU! It sounds cliche but life is short! Decide to wake up with dreams, and trust that you can achieve it. Then chase them, and never ever give up! https://linktr.ee/InConstantMovement
